Welcome to the professional journey of Ted Solages, a seasoned architect and engineer with a passion for tackling complex projects and making a positive impact on communities. Ted holds a Bachelor of Architecture professional degree, having honed his skills at the New York Institute of Technology.

After completing his formal education, Ted embarked on a transformative career path. His early experiences included interning to 3D scan and analyze the Sonta Fosca Church in Venice, Italy, showcasing a commitment to merging technology with architectural analysis. A humanitarian trip to Costa Rica underscored Ted's dedication to socially responsible architecture, contributing to the construction of a recycling center in Nosara. Returning to the United States, Ted spent three years as an intern focused on commercial interiors and mixed-use projects in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. His role at Cycle Architecture + Planning involved coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for a tower near the Wythe Hotel, showcasing his proficiency in emerging technologies.

Enthusiastic about complex projects, Ted joined Francis Cauffman, specializing in healthcare architecture. Notably, he contributed as a technical architect to the monetization of Mount Sinai Health Systems, utilizing innovative techniques and BIM implementation. Ted also played a crucial role in redesigning the Stevens Institute Wellness Center, demonstrating his ability to coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines. In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Ted's expertise expanded into residential and transportation infrastructure with AECOM. His involvement in the Build it Back and Amtrak ADASP upgrades showcased his adaptability and resilience in the face of challenging scenarios.

In his most recent roles as Lead Architect/Engineer, Ted has left an indelible mark on transportation and infrastructure projects. Notable among these are the JFK Redevelopment CS2 within the central terminal area and the Central Deicing Facility. Throughout his career, Ted has engaged in various procurement methods, showcasing versatility in design bid build, Integrated Project Delivery, and design-build approaches. With a commitment to innovation, community, and excellence, Ted Solages continues to shape the landscape of architecture and engineering.
